We are a local service with over 13 years experience of supporting people within Nottingham City and County to set up an manages their Direct Payments/Personal Budgets etc. We offer support and advice around all aspects of being an employer (recruitment, setting up payroll, employment contracts etc). We also offer training for PA's, other organisations and Corporate Businesses around Disability Equality, The Mental Capacity Act and Deaf Awareness. All our staff are disabled people themselves, and have either Direct Payments, a Personal Budget or Disabled Stedents Allowance; so we are a real user-led team.We would arrange interpreters when needed and the cost should be included within someone's Personal Budget to cover this. One of our staff can communicate using basic BSL and we are looking at having further training to advance this so interpreters for people with BSL are not needed.Various charges for support - we have a price list.
