BAC-IN is a "Grass Roots" peer Led, culturally specific drug and alcohol service based in Nottingham working with people from the African-Caribbean, South Asian, Dual Heritage and other minority ethnic communities promoting recovery. Service users are invloved in all stages of the development and delivery of BAC-IN services including planning, delivery, evaluation, review and service development. BAC-IN supports individuals, famalies, offenders and communities. BAC-IN offers a range of services including peer mentoring, prison in-reach, family/carer services as well as cultural competence training and education and treating the culturally senstivite issues facing many of these communities that we serve.BAC-IN has kitchen area, a room designated for aricular acupuncture, meditiation, yoga sessions. As well as office space at BAC-IN Parma House 200 Mansfield Road for events, meetings, consultation and conferences.The facilities within BAC-IN Parma House are available to both individuals, clients, and external organisations.Individuals access BAC-IN through a variety of approaches including word of mouth, self-referral and referrals from statutory organisations.BAC-IN Parma House, charges £10 per hour for mutual aid groups, costs for other groups vary dependent on seating arrangements between £20 to £30.BAC-IN opening times are as follows: Monday to Friday 8.45am - 6pm BAC-IN also holds 4 service user group meetings through the week, these are as follows: Tuesdays BAC-IN Self Help Group meeting 7.30 to 9.15pm, Wednesdays, BAC-IN Self- Help Group Meeting 1.30pm-3pm and Women and Carer Support Group Meeting 5.45pm - 6.45pm.
